PERSONAL TRAINING WITH LAURA OCEANE
Don't Hesitate.

We all start somewhere.

Welcome! My name is Laura and I've been a personal trainer since 2015, acquiring 6 certifications along the way. And the question I get most often is, "What made you want to become a personal trainer?"

Well... because I've been through the process and failed many times. When I was young, I struggled with body image. I didn't really have the resources growing up to learn how to properly care for my body, which ultimately led to an eating disorder and exercise compulsion in my teens. I had to work hard in my recovery, and that included improving my relationship with diet and exercise. The most valuable thing I learned was that sustainability was the true key to progress... not yo-yo dieting and exercising for hours a day. Recovery was trial and error but because of the lessons I've learned along the way, I have been able to help others through their own personal journeys. For the past 10 years, I have helped both women and men reclaim control over unhealthy habits and lifestyles, while also teaching them to accept the things they cannot change. And the most rewarding part of my job is being able to witness (and be a part of) the positive changes that occur... not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

While my focus is creating sustainable and healthy habits for my clients, I do work with a wide variety of goals including but not limited to sport-specific training programs, injury prevention and recovery, and improving body composition.
All clients in any stages of their journey are welcome.
